Eco-Friendly Business Card

The Paper: Kraft paper has a natural brown colour and visible fibre texture. It’s unbleached, uncoated, and biodegradable. The earthy, raw look is the entire point — it doesn’t try to look like white art paper.

No Lamination: Unlike our other business cards, eco-friendly cards have no lamination layer. This keeps them fully recyclable and compostable. The trade-off: they’re not moisture-resistant. Handle with dry hands and store in a cardholder.

Colour on Kraft: We print in full CMYK colour, but the brown kraft base affects how colours appear. White ink is not available — “white” areas will show as the natural kraft brown. Dark colours (black, navy, deep green) and bold graphics work best. Light pastels and subtle gradients will appear muted.

The Feel: Kraft paper has a slightly rough, tactile surface. It feels organic and grounded — distinctly different from the smooth or glossy finish of standard business cards. People notice the texture immediately.

Design tip: Use bold, high-contrast designs. Keep it simple — the kraft paper itself is a design element. Too many colours or fine details get lost on the textured surface.
